Do you have a track record within IT, Telecom or Printing? The EMEA Headquarters of Ricoh International, has asked Michael Page to help them find a Manager New Business for the African continent. In this role your main responsibility is to strategically develop business partnerships with potential customers in (mainly) new and (for Ricoh) less discovered markets. Aim is to build sustainable sales and create the opportunity for growth of offering new service through partners. To be successful in this role, you will explore these markets, collect, appraise crucial information by using external market research organizations, but also by doing market research in a pro active way (e.g., visiting events, networking, growing/maintaining relationships). Therefore, it is crucial that you find the key players in the market, build a strong relationship and analyze their financial status. Based on all the information you give recommendations to Senior Management. At the same time you will develop a market intelligence database for all internal departments. Main tasks are, but are not limited to: o Exploring, understanding and creating new business in Africa o Analyze competitors and pricing strategies o Building relationships with decision makers at C-level o Optimize distributor partner satisfaction o Gather intelligence on customers and competition, account planning and performance o Structure activities to strategically expand channel relationships o Analyze partner financial status: cash flow, PNL, revenues, profit etc o 5-7 years relevant industry experience o Fluency in English and preferably French and Mandarin o Possesses business acumen in sales, finance and marketing o Spot opportunities and act upon them o Experience in the African market is a plus Bedrijf: Michael Page NL, Amstelveen (Noord-Holland)Hoe kan je solliciteren?
