Team Lead USP Development - Mammalian Cell culture Regio Leiden (LabResource)

We are looking for an experienced and motivated team lead to coordinate operational activities on the USP labs. You will be a key intermediate between the scientific staff and the lab team. In this role, you will supervise the experimental activities, ensuring smooth and timely day-to-day-execution by the lab team. This requires leadership skills and affinity with people management. You will guide the lab team in detailed planning activities and ensure that the overall experimental planning remains aligned with the main customers and project priorities at all times. Based on that you plan the lab resources to support operational activities as well as the ongoing continuous improvements. You coordinate ad-hoc activities in case troubleshooting is needed. We are looking for a professional with the following background You have a BSc/MSc in a relevant discipline in biopharmaceutical sciences/biotechnology or engineering  You have at least 5 years of hands-on operational experience within biotechnology, of which at least 1 year in a supervising / coordinating role. You have proven organizational skills, planning skills and affinity with people management. You have experience with mammalian cell culture and you have a strong affinity with upstream processes development, ideally including hands-on experience with bioreactors. Knowledge of GMP is an advantage. You are a team player with excellent communication skills, who is flexible, has a can-do attitude, and a pro-active mindset.
